Our
Story
My name is Leticia Brisco Johnson, and I believe I was born to serve. Serving others has always been at the heart of who I am. This passion began when I was a little girl, following my mother as she dedicated her time to helping others. She assisted with feeding thousands of homeless people each month through the mission at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church, and I eagerly joined her when her mission group visited nursing homes to care for the elderly. Those experiences shaped my calling and taught me the true meaning of service. In 2013, I became a member of Raleigh North Christian Center and joined the Hospitality Ministry, where God surrounded me with an incredible team of leaders who taught me so much. I absolutely love what I do there. One Sunday, Pastor Chapman reminded us that “Your gift is in your hands”—a powerful truth that confirmed my calling. He often shares Proverbs 18:16: “A man’s gift makes room for him and brings him before great men.” That scripture inspires me daily to use the gifts God has blessed me with.
